Catherine has been diligently making moxa cones for over 20 years since her first visit to Edward Obaidey’s clinic in Tokyo, back when she was at Uni.  She has her own practise in which she blends her 2 passions – 5 Elements Acupuncture with Traditional Japanese Acupuncture, both of which use moxa extensively.  She is the director of House of Moxa, a small business devoted to providing quality moxa products to the acupuncture community throughout Australia and New Zealand.

“Since your workshop, I’ve been exploring moxa use in the clinic. I’m getting such great results and patients are so happy 🙂 It’s also given me a confidence boost in practice and I feel I’ve re-discovered a powerful tool to be used in my therapeutic arsenal. I now fully understand why Acupuncture in China was known as Zhenjiu/Acumoxa. They go hand in hand and should be used together (where appropriate) to give patients the best opportunity to recover.”
Shane, Acupuncturist (Sydney)

“Catherine was very patient and made sure each student was on the right track, which may not be possible if the workshop was with a large group of people.”
Jack, TCM Student (Sydney)

“The workshop was well organized and very informative. I really enjoyed the day and all content covered.”
Ashleigh, TCM Student (Sydney)

“Thanks for a lovely day.  Reinforced and refined some techniques.”
Karen, Acupuncturist (QLD)
